From the President
THE STEERING COLUMN
The club shared a most memorable mini-tour through old Lakeway, Pace Bend Park, Spicewood, and into Marble Falls. Our Kindergartener attending was quite concerned that others “are getting away” as part of the bigger parade stopped to help a stalled vehicle. I was very proud of our members who lent a hand of experience and got them rolling again. Later in the day, after another hiccup, the child said to me, “They didn’t give up!” That was a valuable lesson we all learned.
Another bonding opportunity further awaits the club through our annual fundraising work at Pate Swap Meet at Texas Motor Speedway. This is a fun and unique way to fund our yearly activities and strengthen our organization through work. After that our club has a large endeavor to put on a successful Texas Tour. This is an active season for the Road Relics and we will need everybody to participate. Thanks in advance for your dedication and help in supporting the antique vehicle hobby.
